IntelliSport Analytics is excited to announce the addition of two summer associates for 2022. Joshua Honig-Frand and Sameer Tirumala will join the company to provide direct support with research and business lead generation. The selection of Joshua and Sameer are a reflection of their enthusiasm for thoughtful research, curiosity on the connection between business and sports, and their high character. IntelliSport looks forward to their contribution to the company:
Joshua Honig-Frand, of Denver, Colorado, is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics, while minoring in computer science and psychology. He has valuable research experience in the psychology lab, Wellbeing and Morality Lab, where they conduct studies on the intersection of wellbeing, personality, and morality. He is also involved in the Wharton Undergraduate Sports Business Club. Josh enjoys running on the Penn Club Track and Field team, weightlifting with his brother, watching basketball with his friends, skiing, hiking, and doing anything that involves the outdoors.
Sameer Tirumala, of Shreveport, Louisiana, is a freshman at Georgetown University, studying Operations and Analytics. He has a passion for understanding how the use of statistics in empirical and qualitative research can impact how sports organizations make decisions that impact a team’s performance. Sameer is a member of HoyAlytics, a student-run consultancy conducting data analysis to generate strategic recommendations for small business clients. Sameer grew up loving soccer, and later started enjoying running and volleyball.
